How to measure your bathroom to choose the perfect shower tray

Getting the size right is the most important part of buying a shower tray. Because we make it to your exact measurements, you only need to take three figures accurately. Here’s how.

1. Measure the width and length of the space

Measure the space flush against the wall, at several points (walls aren’t always square). Note the smallest figure for each side: that’s your real limit.

  • Width: from 60 to 100 cm.
  • Length: from 60 to 200 cm.

With those two numbers you can see the price instantly on the Liso tray, Elite or Pizarra page.

Tip: leave 1–1.5 cm of clearance if you’re going to tile afterwards or fit a shower screen profile.

2. Locate the waste

Check where the waste outlet is on the floor. Our trays let you position the waste trap (included free) wherever you need it; just tell us when you order.

3. Decide on the installation

  • Flush with the floor (recessed): the most modern finish, requires lowering the screed.
  • On top of the screed: simpler, the tray sits slightly raised.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Measuring at just one point and trusting that “the bathroom is straight”.
  • Forgetting the thickness of future tiling.
  • Not allowing for the opening of the shower screen.
